In 2006 Framework completed a unique study entitled “The Trinidadian Executive in Jamaica.’ The study outlined the unique challenges that executives from the country of Trinidad and Tobago faced as they arrived in Jamaica to lead newly acquired companies.
We found that many were surprised by the cultural differences, and came to Jamaica with a confident attitude that was perceived in Jamaica as arrogance.
All of the 30+ executives we interviewed said that they wished they had been better prepared.
